The 2025 Island in the Sun Collection is a love letter to summer. It’s about the places we will go or the people we will go with. Sometimes, if we’re lucky enough, it’s about both.  Because that perfect combination is where the magic happens. The sun warms and energizes. The water washes away the things that cling to us. The laughs are the soundtrack of happiness. We hope it never ends. Island in the Sun takes its design inspiration from my own island, Sri Lanka. I started it as a way to stay connected to my roots, but it quickly grew to take on a much deeper personal meaning. It is about the things that make us who we are. Especially those subtle things people can't always see. The Sun logo is my modern interpretation of classic Sri Lankan batik-style designs. • The Sun symbolizes what burns brightest in all of us. • The Winking Eye is a nod to our hidden passions. • The Teardrop (roughly in the shape of Sri Lanka) reminds us of past summers: to all the laughs and the goodbyes that made us cry. Our sun shines brilliantly through all of them. • The Island in the Sun design on the back of select shirts is written around the shape of Sri Lanka.
